Empower Women In Africa Project: Saturday, February 11th 1-5pm in Boulder

Join us for this free workshop to make reusable sanitary napkins for school-age young women in rural Africa, This simple item helps girls in Africa continue their studies through to graduation instead of needing to miss school and fall behind because of lack of money or resources to take care of their menstrual cycle.  Beginning and advanced stitchers welcome to join!  We'll have machines, materials and snacks.  Spread the word and stop on by!

Inga Pae Photo Exhibition: Opening Thursday, February 16th, 2012

Internationally recognized Boulder Artist, Inga Pae will be exibiting works from ECOuture at Common Threads starting February 16th from 5-7pm!  Join us for wine and conversation with the artist who so stunningly captured the teen and pre-teen participants from the 2011 Recycled Runway show and their inspired garments from found materials.
